I think smokers can expect more of this sort of discrimination given that the Government encourages it. St Gillian of Merron, Lincoln's MP and public health persecutor, told me herself that she simply doesn't believe these sort of adverts exist. They do, and this one below (which you have to click on to read it properly) was featured in her very own constituency's local paper, The Lincoln Target, this week.
Now we have the scam of third hand smoke, and ASH US calling for smokers to have to shower before entering public places, I think we can expect to see more of this. I did complain to the paper's advertsing team and they were very sympathetic. One can only hope that they do as they promised, call the advertiser, and tell them they have to amend the ad. We'll see.
