MINISTER ADMITS DoH CORRUPTION

Well, well, well, junior state health persecutor Nanny Milton has openly admitted that the Govt's tobacco control policy is corrupt and designed by political lobbyists and Big Pharmaceutical vested interests.

In an answer to a Parliamentary question, Milton said the Govt didn't give a stuff about those who had voted Tory nor did it care about law abiding ordinary people or legal business.

Instead, it pays political lobby groups like ASH - which it hides behind "charity" status so its dodgy dealings can't be found through Freedom of Information requests - and only listens to big Corporate interests which compete directly with Big Tobacco companies who are not allowed to be heard along with their legal consumers who are being punished for not wanting to quit.

This would be the same Pharmaceutical Industry that uses Govt to push harmful drugs which kill smokers but they continue to be prescribed because the Govt says smokers don't matter and they are trying to purge us from society so death or quit makes no difference.

It seems that Nanny Milton is openly acknowledging that the publically funded Department of Vested Interests, AKA the DoH, is lobbied by organisations funded by the DoH, and is only happy to speak to those that share it's corruption in making Big Pharma richer and poor smokers criminals because they won't buy Big P's quit products.

And I thought Tories were for free market competition and not about making laws that allow one competitor to prosper at the expense of a rival.

Fair play on the only honest politician in Govt at present for asking the question of Milton. Personally I'd like to know if she is also being paid by Big Pharma to give it an unfair competitive advantage like her predecessor Pat Hewitt - the Taxi For Hire Minister who was paid £3000 per day to advance the interests of corporate Big Pharma in the making of Govt policy.

I repeat what I said above. This corrupt Conservative Govt hides ASH's main function - political lobbying - behind charity status so we can never learn how much it is paying our so called elected representatives to make the policy it wants making.

Philip Davies asked the Secretary of State for Health :

If he will make it his policy to require that organisations which engage with his Department on tobacco control issues disclose whether they are linked to or receive funding from (a) the pharmaceutical industry and (b) the public purse. [54656]

Nanny Milton - presumably in the absence of Big Bully Boss Andrew Lansley replied:

The Government are under obligation to protect tobacco control from the vested interests of the tobacco industry, under The World Health Organisation’s Framework Convention on Tobacco Control.
Our policy on this is set out in Chapter 10 of “Healthy Lives, Healthy People: A Tobacco Control Plan for England ”. This does not extend beyond the tobacco industry and the Department, as with all other policy areas, engages with a wide range of stakeholders including the pharmaceutical industry, organisations in receipt of funding from the pharmaceutical industry and organisations in receipt of funding from the public purse.

The other question I'd really like to know is who the hell voted anyone in from the WHO into Westminster? I'm pretty sure there were no candidates from that organisation on my ballot paper last May.

So now the secret is out. Milton has admitted for all to hear that the current Govt is corrupt and it doesn't care about it's voters so smoking Tory voters - have your eyes been opened yet or will you still vote for more persecution from the thoroughly dishonest Conservative Govt that panders to Big Industry and lobbyists who are making the policy that you expected to be made by those you voted for?

If you vote Conservative again, you deserve all you get but ordinary hard working law abiding, tax paying smokers do not.

BIGOTRY TO RULE LINCOLN?

According to Big Brother Watch NuToryLimpDump junior health minister Ann Milton is giving local councils the power to further socially exclude smokers which is really bad news in my bigoted city.

pRick Metcalfe - former NuLabour council leader and now in the minority since his prejudicial party got booted into touch - is bound to push for this. He's a real nasty piece of work who hates smokers.

About five years before the blanket ban, there was much unhappiness here when a local hall was refurbished - because PRick's council had let it get to such a bad state following a lack of investment - and the council decided to ban smoking in it once it was done up.

One of the reasons they gave for this move was one of the most ridiculous I've ever heard. One councillor - a stupid woman whose name escapes me - said the council had done this to protect the chiiiildren. She said because the hall would be used at night for live acts, and for school workshop groups by day, then it was too much of a risk to their health when people had been smoking the night before.

Many people were furious about this including me. I wrote to PRick Metcalfe and he never even bothered to reply. I wrote again. Again nothing. I was so incensed by his lack of response that I wrote to my council chief executive and said as a local council tax payer I was entitled to a response.

I wanted to know why smoker tax payers' needs had been ignored. After all, our tax also helped to pay for this refurbishment and it seemed to me that the least they could do for us was to create a designated place somewhere inside. We'd paid for that right.

PRick's response was that if I was such an addict and couldn't do without a smoke for the length of a performance then I had no business complaining. Charming. I sent him loads of stuff from Forest about the fraud that is SHS plus the actual ONS survey which showed that the majority preferred choice to an outright blanket public smoking ban. You may recall that the thoroughly corrupt Nulabour party turned these figures around to suit it's own ideology to enforce the ban upon a public that didn't want it.

PRick dismissed this by saying only Forest was saying this and they were liars. Charming. A real fair and unbiased man of the people this one.

For me professionally this exclusion was disastrous. My political beliefs about choice meant I had to withdraw when a local "community" group wanted to use my book Devils Let Loose about the Lincoln riots of 1911. I had given them permission to use my copyright (thanks NB) on condition that I could be involved in the writing of the play they planned to base on it.

At this time there was nothing in the pipeline for the hall and it was decided the play would be staged at the local University. It was non-smoking but I had no problem with a private building setting its own policy. When it was announced that the hall would be finished in time for the play, the group decided to hold it there and I had a problem. It was a public hall that I had helped to pay for and I asked the group if they would hold a ballot of members to see how they felt about it.

I was told not to be "so silly". They said : "Everyone knows the hall is non-smoking and if they had a problem they'd say." I still asked for a vote to be held and if they all agreed the place was suitable even as a non-smoking public venue, then I'd accept it and carry on. At least they had been given the choice.

The idiots in the group said no. I had no choice but to back off and disassociate myself. They stole my work, changed the title to Devils Let Loose? and decided the question mark after the title made it their own work and they did not have to credit me or my work as the basis of the play thereafter.

They proved that "community" includes everyone - except smokers and those to whom choice is important. I had grounds to sue them for copyright theft, and I could have gained an injunction to stop the production in its tracks, but in England you can only use the law if you are rich and I am not so I lost out while they claimed all the credit for my work.

Of course I accept that they used my book as the basis and did a lot of their own work, but without it and without my title they would have had no starting point.

Of course we in Lincoln kicked out our former bigoted MP St Gillian of Merron because of Nulabour's stance on smoker exclusion and we hoped we might just get a fairer Govt instead. People were conned into thinking that the Tories were not nannies nor did they think it their business to tell people how to live their lives.

What we got was NuLabour in a different colour and a health department in bed with the fake charity ASH. Milton and her boss Andrew Lansley are so tucked up with Deborah Arnott one must ask if they are running a prostitution racket

Uuurrgghh - sorry - this pic makes my stomach churn too but it's necessary to show how corrupt this current health department is. Milton and Arnott couldn't be any closer unless they were snogging.

This despicable and fraudulent group's lies and propaganda - based on junk science paid for by Big Pharma corporations who compete with the tobacco industry to supply smokers with nicotine - has not only excluded people who don't want to quit, it is working furiously to criminalise them as well.

So I was completely uplifted today when I went to my doctors for a routine check up. I hadn't been in years because last time I got a bigoted nurse who told me I was a serial killer as well as a suicidal maniac because I smoked. The new nurse I saw was great. She told me the last one no longer worked in the practice after being asked to leave.

When the new nurse asked if I was still smoking I told her I smoked moderately for my health because as a lifelong smoker from the age of 8, I was scared to quit because the prognosis for lifelong smokers is worse if they quit than if they conitnue to smoke moderately. She agreed and completely understood how I feel as one who started smoking in childhood - when there was no protection for children - and who now resents being treated as an outcast as an adult when I could never have envisaged more than 40 years ago when I started what would happen when I was grown up.

Bigots like PRick, Lansley and Milton could never understand or empathise. They have no intellect and therefore have no business in positions of authority.

The only hope we have of getting these people out is in elections. Local council elections are coming up in May and we can show the LibLabCon that we have had enough by voting alternatively. For me it's UKIP - for many others in Lincoln too as I explained previously how many new members we have. That indicates to me that many more votes will also come our way and to help with that, I will be standing for anyone who supports choice, fairness and equality and is against corrupt and fraudulent institutions and quangos.

The day PRick loses his privileged position the better and the sooner fairness will return locally. The sooner we have a general election and the NuToryLimpDumps lose their seats because of their corrupt association with a fake charity, the better this country will be. Ours is the land of tolerance and fair play. It's such a shame that these bigots are working to erode our once decent society.

PERPETUAL ANGER

Twice in two days I've launched into a random rant about the smoking issue and I've realised that I've been in perpetual rage since July 2007. It isn't getting any better despite my wish that it would.

I never felt this way before and I don't think that anger will abate until the fraudulent anti-smoking industry stops funding untruthful propaganda designed to stigmatise smokers with a daily drip feed of hate designed to socially exclude them and bully them whenever the occasion arises.

The industry, which depends on the harassment of smokers for profit and the naivety of Govt minister to push it's fraud into policy, is calling the Tobacco Display Ban an urgent matter of child protection.

As usual it is out of touch with reality but it is more about the Denormalisation aspect of promoting - again by daily drip feed - "smokers as child abusers" rather than any real and meaningful effort to protect children from taking up smoking.

They say :

The tobacco industry depends for its future on recruiting and addicting new consumers, many of whom begin smoking as children. Such legal challenges are undoubtedly costly to government in terms of both legal fees and time spent defending these public health measures through the courts. However the costs to our society run deeper still, and will be measured in lives lost as this lethal and addictive product continues to recruit new users.

Note how they deliberately use the word "addictive" and their emotive use of children as human shields. But they are talking about a time more familiar to my childhood over 40 years ago. Perhaps they haven't noticed how much has changed or they are so dependant on their jobs that they have to keep on coming up with new scare tactics to frighten the public. Perhaps they are just being deliberately fraudulent with a view to influencing policy against smokers because they hate them. It's hard not to think this given what they have done and it's hard to think they care about children. I am the childhood smoker they want to eventually criminalise as an adult because I wasn't of the generation that heard their message.

ASH's insane idea to ban sales of tobacco - which is what will happen as a result of their madness because of the costly charge of shop refits - will force open the black market and lead kids of any age to get tobacco far more easily, and drugs if the baccy man has those in his stash too.

As a child smoker who took up the habit aged 8 years old, I know that what they are proposing will only make the situation worse. So much has changed since I used to go to the shop with my dinner money and I know for a fact that responsible shop owners haven't sold to under 16s (which used to be the law) in 30 years.

Yes, some get caught out but usually because the anti-smoking industry has set a trap by deliberately sending in older looking youths to further their argument for a ban. They are creating a problem that isn't there because it helps to take forward their ideology of tobacco eradication and stigmatisation of legal businesses and adults associated with tobacco consumption and sales.

If they get their way, tobacco use will go undeground like drug use and, well, we all know that kids today don't use drugs because they are not on sale down the local shop or supermarket.

I mean, I must be be on something myself when I sit through court cases such as that of a 17 year old girl with a £200 a day heroin habit.

What makes me so angry these days is the pure unintellectual rubbish that those who you would expect to know better take on board without even consulting with anyone else who might have useful and specialist information to add.

They will not work with us for the greater good of everyone because we are "the enemy" - not Big Tobacco but the little man or woman. And it's the poor they get at most because as the weakest members of our society they can. While the rich can smoke, drink and eat themselves to excess, the poor are denied simple pleasures because of, well, being poor.

That inequality angers me and I rage because decades ago we decided as a society that stigmatisation, bullying and harrassment was wrong and equality was right. We even had laws to protect people from being sacked from jobs, or discriminated in the workplace because of their lifestyles and yet no law exists to protect smokers from being sacked for being smokers or being refused jobs because of being a smoker.

A friend told me about photoassist.com, a photo agency, which she says prefers non-smoker employees but expects smokers to sign a pledge to say they won't smoke at work. That is the law so it's insulting and I'm sure they don't ask those who like alcohol, or the occasional glass of wine to sign any pledge not to drink at work or eat unhealthy food. Perhaps that's coming. The barriers to fairness have been smashed down.

Why this kind of harassment is being legalised by Govts on the fraud of the Unelected smoke free industry made up of ASH, their partners, and their pharmaceutical bedfellows is beyond me. I've never understood it and that angers me too. I find these days that it takes just a mention of the smoking issue to make me fly into rage.

The first rant this week was at the check out at Iceland when the cashier told me how her husband was photographed by the local press in a sort of "show and shame" piece about the problem of smokers outside of hospitals.

We were chatting about the local Netto up the road being taken over by Asda and supermarket shopping generally as my junk food/ microwave specials were passed through the barcode reader. She said she liked Morrison's and smoking came up when I told her we boycotted that store because they sacked two employees at Christmas for smoking in the car park.

She's a non-smoker supporter of choice. She doesn't like smoking next to her but she has no problem at all with separate areas in public places or separate public places. What got me angry was how embarrassed she was at her husband's actions. I said she was supposed to feel like that because of the whole "Denormalisation" and pro-stigmatisation programme. I said she should have been proud of him.

I also went off on one yesterday during a debate about the BBC's alleged "impartiality." I said the smoking issue was a prime example of how the BBC doesn't present both sides and indulges in press release propaganda on this issue.

The BBC's coverage of Communist USA's New York outdoor smoking ban, for example, has not one word from the other side of the debate nor does the BBC care how people - especially the elderly - will be affected by this.

If the BBC cared to ask they would soon learn that this issue has nothing to do with smoking.

During my ranting debate with a colleague, it was said that the broadcaster, nor any other "responsible" media, would want to do anything that could be accused of promoting smoking because whatever we think about choice, smoking is "bad for you."

They don't even ask if we promote smoking - they assume we do and don't care that they are slandering us. They don't ever report, for example, that we just want to be left alone and want the harassment to end but we don't go around telling people to take up smoking.

In the same way the Broadcaster harasses young and vulnerable families with children who can't afford a TV licence, they also use the power of their partciular media and influence to stigmatise smokers. The BBC is on board with the plan. Perhaps it doesn't realise how much it has been used.

The BBC has never, for example, even bothered to debate the alleged stance that "smoking kills and is bad for you."

I believe that for some people it is "bad" but not all and that is the risk we take. If the effects of smoking on smokers is different, and if genetics has at least something to do with the illnesses we get, that might explain why some die after a few years of smoking while others smoke from childhood to 100 years old and stay in relative good health their whole lives.

The antis say these people are in the minority - well they are anyway - but actually when it comes to smokers, those who die young are unfortunately in the minority.

As a child smoker with no legislation at the time to protect me - except for my mother's back hand if she caught me at it - and as an adult who has always smoked and fears that quitting could seriously damage my health, I still wait for serious and truthful research to be done on why some die young and others smoke unaffected. Inconvenient maybe but true none the less.

Tobacco used in moderation can be good for you actually. Before the propaganda, health promotion, EU directives, changes in legislation, public health programmes, nannying and now nudging, doctors would tell patients to smoke moderately for their health in some circumstances. A non-smoking young colleague was told recently that smoking can ease endometriosis, ironically because she doesn't smoke nor wants to take it up.

A real medical nurse friend of mine with 30 years experience also said two or three cigarettes a day sorts out irritable bowel syndrome. Tobacco is a herb, despite being maligned as a "drug" to hype up the "addiction" angle. When I read the ingredients on a packet of Boots own brand herbal seasick pills the other day, I noted tabacum was one of the ingredients. So it's OK to use the natural product when packaged and pushed by Big Pharma but somehow wrong to buy it from Big "evil" Tobacco.

The word is getting out via blogs, and the recent good news in Holland which has negotiated some fairness back on to the agenda is testament to that, but it seems the corrupted UK State institutions are trying to stop us from talking because they don't like what we say.

It seems other people across the world are raging as much as me but for different reasons. If the oppressive states of Britain and the USA are anything to go by then the likes of Egypt would be well advised to avoid democracy which in this NuWorld is simply about elective dictatorship and doing as you are told by the state.

All freedom has gone. The anti-smoker industry murdered it and until they back off, I fear my rage will continue and my compulsion for this tiresome battle will never end.

NUGOVT - SAME OLD FRAUD

Phil Williams explains how the NuGovt was conned by the self-interest cronies appointed by the last Govt which the public kicked out of office.

This is yet further evidence that the ConDems are totally naive and stupid and will believe any old tripe put forward by Labour's civil servants who despite a general election, are still making policies that the majority of non-smoking and smoking voters rejected at the ballot box.

They want choice, equality, to be treated as grown ups, and to be allowed to decide for themselves where they socialise and who with. The NuGovt doesn't care about the voter which is why I believe it will lose the next election. People are already fed up and if they do not do something to address the very real concerns of freedom of choice v dictatorship, then they are finished as parties.

Tory supporters are already hanging their heads in embarrassment at this "socialist" NuConservative party and frankly, the LibDems have become a laughing stock. If they do not change their bigoted stance on smokers, then other parties will get the support that might have gone their way

They've lied to their core support - students - and their once in their history go at being in Govt has only shown that they are no alternative. The hopes people had in them to be "different" from the other two main parties has only been exposed as false and built on nothing more substantial that straw.

Yes, the Lib Dems are finished as a party. I think some will stay with the Tories as the best hope of keeping their fat salaries. Others will join NuLabour - and as that thoroughly corrupt party has bragged - in the thousands.

The only decent LibDems I know are Coun Carl Minns from Hull and the Mayor of Market Rasen, Ken Bridger. I wish they'd both see sense and cross over. Ken I know is very much an ordinary bloke trying to do good. From what I have learned of Carl, I feel he is the same. UKIP needs more people like that. Their talents are wasted with their party of choice.

I recall Dudley UKIP councillor Malcolm Davis - who crossed over from the LibDems - said he was disillusioned with his former party and many more feel like he does.

UKIP can become the new party of the people for the people. It is growing from the bottom up and is taking support from the LibLabCon party. It is not full of "nazi brownshirts" as jealous critics put out to scare away support. It's full of people fed up at being ignored over all sorts of issues - the smoking ban being the one that affects 12 million potential voters.

The media also criticises UKIP because its prospective MPs are ordinary people so fed up with the LibLabCon dictatorship, that they have taken matters into their own hands in a bid to get that change that Britain so desperately needs if she is to survive, and her people are to remain free.

They are not slick politicians trained in the art of lying. They are honest men and women who tell it as they see it. They may say things people don't like - but at least they know what they are voting for.

Currently the main parties are making Britons that thing they said they'd never be - slaves.

RIP CS - FROM FACEBOOK

Today we mourn the passing of a beloved old friend, Common Sense, who has been with us for many years. No one knows for sure how old he was since his birth records were long ago lost in bureaucratic red tape.

He will be remembered as having cultivated such valuable lessons as knowing when to come in out of the rain, why the early bird gets the worm, life isn't always fair, and maybe it was my fault.

Common Sense lived by simple, sound financial policies (don't spend more than you earn) and reliable parenting strategies (adults, not children, are in charge).

His health began to deteriorate rapidly when well intentioned but overbearing regulations were set in place.

Reports of a six-year-old boy charged with sexual harassment for kissing a classmate; teens suspended from school for using mouthwash after lunch; and a teacher fired for reprimanding an unruly student, only worsened his condition.

Common Sense lost ground when parents attacked teachers for doing the job they had failed to do in disciplining their unruly children

He declined even further when schools were required to get parental consent to administer Panadol, sun lotion or a sticky plaster to a student; but, could not inform the parents when a student became pregnant and wanted to have an abortion.

Common Sense lost the will to live as the Ten Commandments became contraband; churches became businesses; and criminals received better treatment than their victims.

Common Sense took a beating when you couldn't defend yourself from a burglar in your own home and the burglar can sue you for assault.

Common Sense finally gave up the will to live, after a woman failed to realise that a steaming cup of coffee was hot. She spilled a little in her lap, and was promptly awarded a huge settlement.

Common Sense was preceded in death by his parents, Truth and Trust; his wife, Discretion; his daughter, Responsibility; and his son, Reason. He is survived by three stepbrothers; I Know My Rights, Someone Else is to Blame, and I'm A Victim.

Not many attended his funeral because so few realised he was gone. If you still remember him, pass this on. If not, join the majority and do nothing.

MORE ON THE DWARF

A couple of weeks ago we were still laughing at the story of the dwarf who pulled a vacuum cleaner around with his penis.

You might recall that among the myriad of dangerous stunts carried out by the Circus of Horrors Show, the one that the council was most worried about, and needed a risk assessment for, was a woman smoking as part of the act.

The story landed on my desk at work and I said I'd post up a copy of what appeared in the paper.

Anyone who wants to see the show can check out the tour dates HERE

WHOSE CHILD IS IT?

Johnny Cash famously explains what it's like living with a stupid name and how it can mould a character.

I know some parents are guilty of inventing names so ridiculous it's uncomfortable for the child to live with. But is it really necessary for Govt anywhere in the world to step in and decide what each of it's citizens should be called?

In Norway in 1998 a woman was jailed for two days after failing to pay a fine for calling her son an "unapproved" name. Kristi Larsen said she was instructed in a dream to name her son Gesher (Hebrew for 'Bridge'), but the court decided the name was daft.

In Italy in 2008 a court banned an Italian couple from calling their child Venerdi (Friday). The judges reckoned the name - taken from 'Robinson Crusoe' - would expose the boy to 'mockery' and was associated with 'subservience and insecurity'.

Malaysian authorities have cracked down on "unsuitable" names in recent years and you can kind of see where they're coming from after one couple named their kid the Cantonese moniker Chow Tow – which means 'Smelly Head'.

In Denmark, the Govt gives parents a list with 7,000-odd names to choose from and special permission is needed to deviate from this list. Ethnic names, odd spellings and even compound surnames are forbidden. Anus was one rejected by the Govt last year.

In Japan one father named his child Akuma aka Devil. The authorities decided this was an abuse of the parent's rights to decide a child's name and a lengthy court battle ensued. Eventually the father backed down and the kid got a new name.

New Zealand decided that Talula Does The Hula From Hawaii could cause offence and ordered parents to change the name of their nine year old girl.

In Sweden, one couple chose Brfxxccxxmnpcccclllmmnprxvclmnckssqlbb11116 for their son. Apparently the name is pronounced 'Albin'. The parents chose it as a protest against Sweden's strict naming laws. Tax authorities must give their blessing to both first and surnames before they can be used.

There will always be some parents who want to give their child a name so unique it skirts daftness or shoots way beyond the bounds of "normality". Kids for their part grow up inventing a new name for themselves anyway if they don't like the one they've got. I'd rather the cause of bullying against children with weird names be addressed rather than bully their parents to name it in accordance with state requirements. To me it's yet another example of how we constantly encourage intolerance.

If the state can name a mother and father's child, what control of our children could it take next? Would it ever tell us what clothes are suitable to dress them in? Will boys always have to wear blue and girls pink? Surely they'd never tell us what we should and shouldn't feed our kids would they?

Children learn from their parents and their experiences. Wrapping them in cotton wool can only create a nation of BORGS. Unique names however silly create unique individuals. Why is individuality such a problem?

Any state taking control of a simple choice such as naming a child signals a very dangerous move. There was a time when I was proud to know that such oppressive Govt control would never happen in Britain. Now I just wonder how long it will be before our Govt embraces the opportunity for this control under the usual guise of the "greater good."

INSANITY

If I've read THIS right then it seems that these days pulling a vacuum cleaner around with one's penis is far more socially acceptable than smoking.

These people really are philistines, bigots, and idiots.

Wouldn't it be great to have a local authority that's run by people with some kind of intellect. At least Skegness is not prepared to brush this issue under the carpet on stage at least.

DODGY SMOKE FREE POLICIES CREATE CRIME

I saw the above poster today and it sent me flying into a rabid rage because it appeared to promote a new negative image of the smoker.

I looked and saw someone so stupid and pathetic because of their "addiction" to smoking to not notice or not care if they smoked rat droppings and poison.

I also believe that this kind of propaganda aims to plant in non-smoker or never smoker minds negative thoughts about the smoker. They will subconsciously look at a smoker's lips in future after absorbing this image and then subconsciously see that filth and think "urrghh".

I don't use the black market but I very much doubt that the ingredients said to be in the "fake tobacco are really there. After all, the anti-smoking industry always lies or exaggerates a relative risk in it's scaremongering tactics of achieving it's ideology. I simply don't believe it and I can't believe that anyone else is stupid enough to believe it either.

I do believe, however, that this poster will encourage those psychotic anti-smokers in their abuse of law abiding consumers of a legal product.

Smokers are always the better authority on tobacco - we are lifelong, generational consumers of the product. Many of those who work in the anti-smoking industry have either never smoked or smoked relatively briefly. They are not the experts on this subject. Neither are they scientists. They are simply the propaganda messengers of the puppet master.

They have been telling us for years that smokers have no sense of taste because of their tobacco use. Now they advise us to tell the difference between what they allege are "dodgy" cigs and "real" cigs by our sense of taste.

The fact is if black market tobacco tasted as bad as these smoke free people say it does, then smokers wouldn't use it. They'd look elsewhere or quit and the one offering bad tobacco would lose custom.

The truth is that the tobacco control policies supported by groups such as Smoke Free Lincs has caused the problem of black market tobacco and increased the risk of children getting hold of it while putting even more smokers in line for increased harm rather than harm reduction.

History shows that high tax leads to a prosperous black market economy and prohibition makes criminals rich while the state gets poorer. Restrictions on tobacco also lead to increases in youth smoking. Children and young teens don't have to show ID to the man with a van to get as many cigarettes as they can afford.

Let's hope the New Year sees a return to common sense policies such as ensuring responsible and independent shop keepers stay in control of their stock without the interference of the Anti-Smoker industry's infantile and hysterical policies.

It's also time to stop tax payer funding of misinformation put out by smokefree groups. My wish for 2011 is that the NuGovt finally stops this rot and starts to listen to independent small business people and legal consumers and their representatives.

A WEEK OF INSULTS

It's been such a busy week that I've hardly had time to do anything other than read a couple of blogs and post a few links on Facebook.

THIS ONE from Simon Clark is important because it presents the truth about SHS - or passive smoking - and how and why it came to be the stick that hysterical bigots beat smokers with.

A smokerphobe called Simon Crompton - who loosely describes himself as a "journalist" when he's obviously more of a propagandist - hasn't got a clue about the true science - but he knows for sure the hate he wants to spread about those he fears and dislikes.

By coincidence his bile came up just after I finished reading THIS from Terry Simpson MD who says:

The Surgeon General also stated that 49,000 deaths per year were caused by second hand smoke. As a surgeon, I was stunned, because I had never seen an autopsy report listing second hand smoke as the cause of death. Nor had I seen this as a secondary cause of death. So I asked six pathologists if they had ever listed second hand smoke as a cause of death – not one had. In my years of clinical practice, I have seen patients die from many devastating diseases, and yet I have never seen anyone who has been disabled by, or has died as a result of, second hand smoke. This was my first clue that perhaps there was more hyperbole than science involved in the reports issuing from the Surgeon General’s Office. To give a contrast: 33,000 people die per year of pancreatic cancer – all of the pathologists have listed pancreatic cancer as a cause of death.

If second hand smoke exposure is a significant risk factor for developing lung cancer, then we should expect to see increased numbers of cancer cases in non-smokers who are exposed to regular doses of second hand smoke. Has there been an increase in the incidence of lung cancer among nonsmokers over the last 40 years? The answer is quite simply… No.

I've also been reading Frank Davis's Blog and the fascinating debate on the link between active smoking and lung cancer with three posts from contributors that I admire, Chris Snowdon, Rich White and Dave Atherton.

I like Frank's latest post about Junican's game with Tobacco Control who were asking their employees to come up with new ways to shame, humiliate, abuse and insult smokers which was also featured over at Dick Puddlecote's place.

Tobacco control lunatics have to believe that people like Junican are tobacco industry lobbyists. They can't bear the thought that the little people are so pissed off at the anti-smoking industry's manipulation of their lives, and control of their Govt, that they have moved into a position of self defence and preservation.

Junican - who says he is just a 71 year old who looks after a 69 year old who can't enjoy the pub anymore - is like the rest of us who post on forums and other sites. We're just ordinary ignored people who don't get paid, are branded in some of the most inhumane and derogatory ways, and are fighting simply for the right to be left alone.

We don't promote tobacco and don't care if people smoke or not as long as we can be left in peace. We've heard the propaganda, we've scrutinised it and we've discarded it. We don't deserve to be punished and abused just because we won't do as tobacco control says.

We do promote choice - a concept that tobacco control can't grasp. The other thing we fight to prevent is not people quitting smoking if they choose - but criminalisation of those who choose not to.

The anti-smoking industry is pushing things that way through propaganda untruths which get picked up and promoted as truth by useful idiots like Crompton to incite further hatred and keep the funding ball rolling.

None of us fought or cared a damn about tobacco control methods until they conned a stupid Govt into excluding us from every public place four years ago. (The link shows the NuGovt is just as bigoted, blind and incapable of intellectual and independent thinking on this subject as the last.)

Since the ban, which was the first step before the rest could follow, tobacco control, part of the anti-smoking industry, have moved on to label us as child abusers, parents of criminals, and not worthy of more than being left to die if we need operations. Despite the fact that we cost the state less than healthy people

That rent-a-quote celebrity quack Dr Hillary Jones should be struck off in my opinion. Any doctor that takes this stance must be breaking the Hippocratic Oath. I think he should, perhaps, remind himself of this bit:

I will remember that there is art to medicine as well as science, and that warmth, sympathy, and understanding may outweigh the surgeon's knife or the chemist's drug.

If he really is a GP, and I don't know as I've only ever seen him on GMTV and in trashy papers, he should be reported to the General Medical Council for his lack of sympathy to patients and his promotion of inequality of care.

The other thing I saw this week was the story about how two smokers were sacked for smoking in the open air. What a rotten thing for Morriosn's to do just before Christmas. Scrooge would be proud. I'm boycotting that store's branch here. I hope others do the same.

This all comes as a result of years of Denormalisation a public health tool promoted by the bigots at ASH which has only recently come out into the open because it is so unethical they tried to hide they were using it.

The other thing that has kept me from blogging apart from real life work this week has been the dentist. I finally got one after years of being without a decent NHS dentist. This one, a Greek Cypriot, seems OK but I hate sitting in health related waiting rooms and having to look at lying posters exaggerating the propaganda myths of smoking and smokers.

One poster promoted that it was better to give up and get fat. "Weight can be lost - lungs cannot" it screamed. I wondered who among the denormalised smokers would quit and fear then getting denormalised and excluded further because they become "obese." It seems you can't win either way.

My dentist had a suggestion box. I wrote on a piece of paper that nice pictures on the wall would be far more relaxing that all the smoking signs. I won't hold my breath that my next visit will see any change.

There has literally been loads of suppressed rants this week but they'll have to wait. I didn't intend to blog this evening and my admin has taken a back seat as a result so I don't know if I'll be blogging again before Christmas. My last working day is tomorrow and I've still got all that shopping to do before Saturday.

It's not a pleasant thing to do anymore. It's no fun trudging through town and shops and not even being able to stop for a cup of tea in the warm with a smoke - something that used to be the highlight of the whole experience.

TORIES BACK LIARS AND FRAUDSTERS

In it's bid to march ever onward in the criminalisation of tobacco culture and the war on consumers, the NuGovt has decided to believe liars like Jack (dreary) Dromey who support hate crime.

Dromey who has the misfortune to be married to champagne socialist Harriet Harperson, lied through his teeth using an ASH handbook no doubt to scupper serious debate on what to do to save the great British pub that NuLabour set about killing because it hates the stench of old Labourite working classes.

Jack Dromey (Birmingham, Erdington) (Lab)said : There was one point made in the debate that I think should be disregarded. It was absolutely wrong to resurrect the issue of the smoking ban. I say that for numerous reasons, but in particular because, having represented the union members concerned, I knew people who contracted cancer and died as a result of working in licensed premises. I think that that debate should rightly remain closed as we move on ...

So come on Dreary Dromey, who are they and where exactly did this cancer come from? What type of cancer was it? And how can you be sure that it was the fraudulent issue of passive smoke that caused it when there are so many risk factors involved and cancer is genetic anyway, you lying scumbag excuse for a person pretending to care about workers.

How many has your bigoted, sanctimonious, lying, greedy, never to be elected again party put out of work since this ridiculous piece of propaganda that comes from hate ruined lives by the millions - 12 million to be exact.

I think Dreary Dromey should make the information he relies on to further the exclusion of 12 million adults known. After all, it's what the hate is based on. We have a right to know if he is really lying or not.

Perhaps I am wrong in thinking the tripe from Harperson's bitch's mouth came from the ASH hate handbook - perhaps it came from his Mrs. After all, she hates smokers too and I am sure he is too scared of her to speak up for himself. Utter wimps like that we do not need interfering in politics.

Come on Dromey, go cook the dinner ready for when the Mrs gets home or ask your Harriet to get you a job somewhere else. After all, you wouldn't even be an MP if it were not for nepotism and the fact she put you forward to double the greedy income in your household, no doubt.

And they wonder why the country is in such a bloody mess and why the little people like me are so fucking angry.

GOVT BACKS RISE IN CHILD SMOKING

According to Chris Snowdon the NuGovt has shown itself to be as gullible as the last in backing moves to increase child smoking.

The government is currently planning to ask retailers to cover up their displays of cigarettes from next year to protect children. But now cigarette packets could also be made a standard colour like grey, rather than the existing bright colours.

In effectively announcing the tobacco display ban they have taken control of tobacco sales from the beleagured small shop owner and put them into the hands of criminals who won't check ID to see if their customers are under age.

But then that socially backward organisation ASH - which lies to achieve it's ideological aims - wants more children to start smoking to ensure that ASH can continue into the next generation and beyond.

The above video serves as a reminder that criminals all over the world will be celebrating this news and setting up business plans for when tobacco becomes illegal and smokers are criminalised.

I mean hiding things that are bad from you from shop displays immediately leads to lack of sales doesn't it? Just ask the millionaire black market drug dealers. They'll tell you that no one uses illegal drugs - not even the 12 year olds - because they don't see them on the shop shelves.

The most disturbing part of the news that NuTories/ConDems have taken this on shows just how thick our leaders are. I really expected them to have some intelligence. Perhaps I expected too much. But then when you are as anti-smoking as health persecutor Andrew Lansley, I'm afraid that intellect flies out of the window chased by pure and unadulterated hate.

Meanwhile, ASH demands that no-one is allowed to see a pack of cigarettes and yet happily advertises them on it's Flickr page Can this disgusting group get any more despicable and hypocritical?

Parents who don't want their children to smoke now have more to worry about. Not only will the black marketeers offer cigarettes to the under age but other products in their stash bag as well.

Oh my Govt, what have you done?

* - Regular readers may have noticed that I've removed the "defender of liberty" image of Philip Davies MP. Not one Tory will get space on my page until I see some kind of tolerance being shown towards smokers from the NuGovt. Philip is great in that he has said and done as much as his party will allow. Frankly he is in the wrong party and until he moves over to one that is more Libertarian, then there is no point in backing him. His masters are not listening to him either.

The same goes for Karl McCartney. I'm grateful that Karl - my MP - is not Gillian Merron and he did vote for choice in pubs, but unless he starts taking real moves to end persecution of smokers then he will never get my support.

I'm sick of smokers and their representatives being frozen out of all negotiations. Permitted lip service to keep us quiet from Govt representatives like Karl and Philip is simply not enough. Tolerance or war - nothing between.

THE NEXT TARGET

Now healthists have smokers under control they are swiftly moving on to the next target for profit and general propaganda using the same formula.

It took them 40 years of Big Pharma funding to make the lie of SHS a "fact" and then hype up it's dangers year on year to the point where there is now an hysterical fear of smokers and smoking.

They had to make other people believe that smokers could harm them before Government would take them seriously. They are now using the same format on fat people who they've only recently started to persecute.

Apparently :

"It looks like obesity is becoming more infectious," said Alison Hill, a graduate student at the Harvard-Massachusetts Institute of Technology Division of Health Sciences and Technology.

What next? Banning anyone over a certain size from entering public places in case we "catch" their fatness? Do they really think we are that stupid?

How the lifestyle of this man doesn't make him 48 stone is beyond me. He's doing everything the healthists say will give you the obesity you could pass on to someone else.

At least people are getting wise to the manipulative political methods of self interest groups, fake charities and the Pharma Industry in exaggerating the threat of "passive obesity."

Meanwhile for smokers the insults continue in the name of everybody's else's good health. ASH is now promoting them almost daily in news releases as child abusers using the usual tactic of telling a lie often enough that it becomes the truth.

This kind of approach is motivated by hatred with no scientific grounds to justify what is a disproportionate "threat".

Hot on the heels of accusing decent, law abiding, considerate and caring parents past and present in the most despicable terms, the anti-smoking industry now has to show how much of a financial burden they are on everybody.

Of course all of this is part of the "Denormalisation" plan to promote :

Smokers as malodourous
Smokers as litterers
Smokers as unattractive and undesirable housemates
Smokers as undereducated and a social underclass
Smokers as excessive users of public health services
Smokers as employer liabilities

But they are looking for even worse language in the hate campaign.

I told them that to "reframe quitting as “breaking up” with a deceitful best friend " was patronising. I said they had to learn to live with lifelong smokers who would not quit and if they wanted to reach them, they should stop the propaganda.

I said their language offended. They short listed a comment about cigarettes as "a deceitful best friend" to the top six of a voting poll to find new insults to use.

Failure to engage with smokers is proof in my opinion that they don't want to work with smokers but against them by promoting language that promotes smokers as weak and all the rest.

Smokers - I feel sorry for you, Fatties - I feel sorry for you too. Fat Smokers, it looks like you are public enemy No 1 but I am on your side.

SMOKER SCANS

THIS would be good news but it's not just smokers who get lung cancer and it is not just smoking that causes it.

We know that so isn't it time to investigate other risk factors? Those affected may need their own special brand of scanning.

There should be no distinctions between smokers or non-smokers in healthcare even if smokers pay far more into the NHS in their lifetime.

Or as Sir Humphrey put it :

"Yes, but cigarette taxes pay for a third of the cost of the National Health Service. We are saving many more lives than we otherwise could because of those smokers who voluntary lay down their lives for their friends. Smokers are national benefactors."

NANNY NUDGE IS BACK

George Orwell must be doing a thousand revolutions a second in his grave as our leaders fund special units full of hot air that work to reshape our thoughts, choices and actions.

But he might have laid back to rest knowing that war had been declared by the people on their tyrants who are using his warnings in 1984 as a political handbook of social control.

It seems Spiked has decalred war on Nanny-caring "Nudgers" as Brendon O'Neill explains:

In the modern political era, it is supposed to be governments that shape themselves in response to what people want, not people who reshape their lifestyles in response to what the government wants. Democracy is meant to involve the formulation of a government that expresses the people’s will; it is about the people putting pressure on the authorities to believe in and pursue certain ideals. Under the nudge tyranny that is turned totally on its head, as instead the government devises more and more ways to put pressure on us to change. And it is because spiked values things like liberty, democracy, choice and debate that we hereby declare war on these nudgers above us.

And about time too! Who is with the rest of us disaffected who just want control of our lives back?

KERRY McCARTHY MP CAUTIONED

Well, it looks as if Miss Goodytwoshoes Kerry McCarthy MP has been cautioned by police . How the hell she knew the results of the postal vote in advance amazes me but then of course we live in a fascist society where elections are all but rigged.

I used to like her. I recall a couple of years ago - after she posted a patronising piece following a Forest do that low income smokers were too stupid to know what was best for them - that I debated the smoking issue on her blog.

I felt it was good to engage with an MP - and that the MP might actually listen. I was naive back then and didn't realise it was about money and hate and not health.

I poured my heart out on her blog and felt encouraged when she said that she would think about what I'd told her when the smoking issue came up in the House again.

Then she immediately voted for a tobacco display ban without thought for the little consumer like me or the little business person who runs the local corner shop. As far as I know, she has voted for every spiteful piece of anti-smoker legislation that was forced upon us while NuLabour was in power.

That's why I'm not sorry that her arrogance has finally landed her in trouble.

The only reason she gave for her hatred of smokers was that her granny died of cancer. Yes. This really is the quality of intellect and bigot that our House of Commons attracts.

As for rigged elections, it looks like a bit of gerrymandering is afoot in my County. I'm told the NuCons are aiming to change the boundaries again so that they can reduce the chances of any other party ever getting elected here.

Beware of AV - it won't be in the little person's interest but it will benefit whatever dictatorial party is in power at the time and can only ever bring just a govt we can't stand. We need a change - the Coagulation is not it.

PUBS WANT SMOKERS

So now it's official. We know Nulab and their anti-smoking paymasters in Big Pharma lied to push through the blanket smoking ban.

You may remember that they only asked anti-smoking groups for their opinions and even then when the ONS survey was done it showed more people in favour of choice.

NuLab turned the figures around and then conned the public into believing that it was acceptable and desirable to hate smokers and call for their social exclusion.

Now the truth is out. 70% of pubs want to cater for smokers.

Will the bigoted and discriminatory coagulation govt that has ConDem-med us all listen? I sincerely doubt it but if they were honest and really did care about equality then they would.

The next election can't come soon enough for me.

Meanwhile, I've just put my script out in the hope that I can change my career and earn enough to buy my freedom from a country that despises me and is working towards my criminalisation - but only after it has first turned my family, friends, neighbours and colleagues against me and so far it is doing a damn good job of that.
